Pure Preview AE
The same phone mockup preview, built for After Effects comps. Design your titles against the interface that will sit on top of them.
Requirements
Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
Host | Adobe After Effects 22.0 or later |
System | Windows 10/11 · macOS |
Quick start
Open your source comp.
Open the panel.
Window → Extensions → Pure Preview AEPick a device and a platform.
Press Build preview comp. A comp named
Pure_<source>_<device>_<platform>is created and your assets are filed into aPure_folder.
Your source comp is never modified — the preview nests it, so edits to the original show up immediately.
How the preview comp is built
Everything else
Platforms, devices, the live fields, collision checks, Multi View and Export comp all work exactly as they do in the Premiere version — see the Pure Preview guide for the full reference.
Where it differs from the Premiere version
Feature | Difference |
|---|---|
Invert fix (ACES) | Not used. The option isn’t shown. |
White background | A solid, rather than a generated PNG. |
Building the preview | After Effects imports synchronously, so there is no two-stage placement and no retry step. |
Load frame | If After Effects is still preparing the frame, the panel says so and the frame appears on its own. |
